A media campaign to point the finger at the ‘greed of rich countries’ for local weather conditions is already underway in Pakistan. More droughts and flooding are being predicted as the La Nina weather pattern goes into its third consecutive winter – something known as a “triple dip”, says Sky News.
The UN’s World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) predicts it will last until at least the end of the year.
