Fossil Fuels Supplying 72% Of Electricity Tonight

NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT

By Paul Homewood

According to Prince Charles, we now get more electricity from solar power than we do coal.

Unfortunately the sun is not shining tonight, and there has not been much wind either today.

The result is that coal power is currently providing 10589MW, out of a total demand of 50040MW.

In total, fossil fuels are now generating 36085MW, or 72% of total generation.

Perhaps the Clown Prince might deign to tell us what we are all supposed to do when we have nothing left but renewable energy?
