Most polls we see, which show much higher concerns about climate change, never put it into perspective. It is natural for people to care about all sorts environmental issues. But ask them if they are prepared to pay the cost of climate policies, and I suspect you will get a completely different answer.
In its own way, this Gallup Poll addresses this factor. It is clear that, whether people are worried about climate change or not, in their day to day lives it is of little relevance.
